Democracy in Egypt?

While I was in my car I happened to catch "Dr. Richard Land" on the radio on one particular Saturday.  Dr. Land had spent a weekend speaking at a men's retreat at my church a few years ago and I got to sit down with him at lunch and chat him up.  Absolutely fascinating guy.  Since then he has elevated in national prominence because of his radio show and anytime I hear him I pay attention.  This particular time he was referring to a poll conducted about the Egyptian citizens and some of their attitudes and how their view of democracy is in opposition to what many Americans believe.  I was able to find the poll online at The Hill and here are some of viewpoints of the people of Egypt you may find interesting:

-Generally speaking Egyptians don't like Americans, any Americans.  59% view Americans disfavorably.
-Vast majority believe in free press, free speech and an impartial judiciary.  However 60% are in favor in a form of democracry "unique to Islamic countries."  What exactly does that mean?  They favor a government that is lead by a group of spiritual leaders that have the power to veto even democratically approved laws if the spiritual leaders feel the legislation violates the Quran.  Much like the current form of government that is in Iran.
-64% have a positive opinion of the Muslim Brotherhood.  The Palestinian branch of the Brotherhood happens to be Hamas which is supported by Iran.

Not exactly democracy as we know it.
